Emily Rose Lingerie was launched in December 2009 and my long time dream finally became reality.

I’ve always loved lingerie and my first job after leaving school was with a local manufacturer, producing some of the biggest names in the lingerie world.

I listened to friends and relatives who said they struggled to find good quality, affordable lingerie and an idea began to form.

I firmly believe in the importance of being measured and fitted regularly and learned how to correctly measure and fit a bra. Up to 80% of women are wearing the wrong size!

In more recent years, my mother and grandmother were diagnosed with breast cancer making me realise how many women are living a post-mastectomy life. Having also been trained to correctly fit women for bras post surgery, I decided that this was a service that I particularly wanted to develop. I try to encourage women to be breast aware and support a local breast cancer charity called Crazy Hats who help hundreds of women (and men) as they go through treatment and surgery.

Each month the Emily Rose range expands and now includes starter, nursing and sports bras with hosiery and swimwear completing the collection.
